Australia captain Aaron Finch admitted that the visitors can ill-afford to make mistakes if they want to impress in the ODIs and T20s in India. Australia’s limited-overs tour kicks off with the 1st T20 at Visakhapatnam on February 24.
Finch will take confidence from leading Melbourne Renegades to Big Bash League title. However, he is aware that India will be a totally different proposition.
"I don't think you need anything to put a pep in your step when you're going on an Aussie tour, particularly to India," Finch said in media reports
"If you're slightly off the mark you're going to get hurt. They're the best side in one-day cricket in their own conditions, I think. So you've got to go there full of confidence and have a real clear game plan,” Finch further explained.
Australia recently lost its first-ever bilateral ODI series at home. While Australia will be without Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood, for India Jasprit Bumrah and Virat Kohli are back.
